Who are we?

We are a group of students from the Silesian Grammar School, Opava (SGO) interested in environmental science and positive impact of people on the environment. In 2012, we founded the „Emissions“ project, with the aim to reduce air pollution. Studying air pollution opened our eyes to other issues and in 2018 the project expanded to include soil contamination and light pollution to our focus. We organize lectures, trainings, and presentations at various events, with the goal to raise awareness of environmental pollution and contamination and offer alternative solutions.

What do we want to achieve?

We want to promote a healthy atmosphere, raise awareness about light pollution and advocate for changes in the environmental legislation of the Czech Republic and the EU. In addition, we aim to persuade the public to think about the consequences of their lifestyle.
